At Marshall Rare Books, we are always interested in unique and rare items of comparable quality to the ones we list on our website. We also buy collections and whole libraries. We offer extremely competitive prices and can pay in UK Pounds, US dollars or Euros.
If you are interested in selling a rare book, letter, manuscript, or important photograph, please fill out the form below.
Whatever you are offering, in every case we need to know:
- The author’s name.
- The title exactly as it appears on the printed title page, inside the book rather than on the cover.
- The edition or printing statement, if one is given.
- The place of publication, the publisher, and the date.
- The binding: leather, boards, cloth, dust jacket and so on.
- Any major defects, such as torn leaves, stains or broken joints.

We will do our best to get back to you within a week if we are interested in your item(s). Please understand that while many items may be important and/or valuable, they may not be a good match for our market.
If we are interested, we will probably ask for more photographs and some additional information.
Please note we will not pay for items until we have examined them.

- We do not consider items that are currently offered on eBay or at online auction.
